The previous year 2008 was full of successes for the Cracow City Tours company.
On 3rd April 2009 the Salt Mine's authorities awarded tour operators from the Malopolska region at the ceremonial opening of the summer season 2009 for the contribution they have made to promote the Salt Mine in Wieliczka.

The Cracow City Tours' chief executive was filled with joy as mr Marian Lesny, director general of the Salt Mine, presented him with a certificate for achieving the first place out of all tour operators from the Malopolska region.

We gladly inform that as many as 23778 tourists went with us to discover the charms of the mine last year.

The second and the third place were achieved by, as follows, the "Cracow Tours" company (19700 tourists) and the "Janpol" company (17800 tourists) to whom we would like to send congratulations for the high score.
